Supporting Homeless Scots in London

Borderline CEO sleeps out again

This October saw Borderline’s CEO Shona Fleming’s second time to take part in CEO Sleepout’s London event at Lord’s Cricket Ground, alongside two other Borderline fundraisers – new Borderline Chairman Jessica Cadzow-Collins, supporter and St Columba’s Elder Hugh Pym and volunteer Pamela Todd. All together they raised nearly £6,500 for Borderline.

CEO Sleepout is a charity set up to fight homelessness and poverty. In cities across the country business and community leaders pledge to sleep outdoors for one night to raise awareness and gain sponsorship from their business contacts and friends.

Shona said, “After our successful fundraising effort for Borderline last year, we were very pleased and grateful to be one of three charities invited again to this year’s London CEO Sleepout.”

“It’s just one night sleeping outdoors for us, which although uncomfortable, does not compare to the experience of many who have no alternative to rough sleeping.

“The CEO Sleepout event supports us in our efforts to reduce homelessness and rough sleeping among Scots across London.”
