Borderline signs up to the new Fundraising Regulator

Borderline has announced that it has joined the new Fundraising Regulator and is fully compliant with independent fundraising regulation.

As a member of the Fundraising Regulator, Borderline confirms its commitment to the highest standards of fundraising, and to a set core of principles that ensure fundraising is legal, open, honest and respectful.  We also adhere to the Fundraising-promise set by the Fundraising Regulator.

We will display the Fundraising Regulator logo on our website and fundraising appeals and literature, providing added reassurance for our donors and supporters.  Should there be any concerns about the way Borderline raises funds, a robust complaints procedure is in place, with any outstanding issues referred to the Fundraising Regulator.

Samantha Evans, Fundraising Officer for Borderline said: “Borderline joined the Fundraising Regulator to show our commitment to best practice in all our fundraising.  With more and more organisations competing for funds, it is important for us to provide reassurance to our supporters about how we ask for money to support our work.”

The Fundraising Regulator is the independent self-regulatory body for UK fundraising, requiring members to commit to the highest standards of fundraising and encouraging donors to give with confidence.
