Stuck for an idea? Here are some fundraising suggestions…

Remember Borderline in your Will

It is always difficult to think about what happens after us. But one thing is certain: clients will continue to need our support.

If you are thinking of leaving a gift, but may have put it off as many people do, our current membership of Remember a Charity means right now you can get 20% off the cost with Coop Legal Services.

There are more details in the section “A Gift in your Will” here, including the testimony of a donor who found it difficult to do so, until he thought the issues through.

And if you have additional questions you can contact Samantha Evans, Fundraising Officer.  She is on  0845 456 2190, or by email at

Shop for Borderline!

Help homeless Scots as you shop. Here’s how to do it:

1 Visit
2 Select the store you wish to shop at
3 Make a purchase
4 Raise a free donation for your chosen charity

On Your Marks…

Are you a marathon runner? Make Borderline your chosen charity next time you run!

The Great Benevolent Bake Off

If you love baking, holding a cake stall is easy! Friends, family, neighbours or colleagues – treat them to something tasty for a good cause.

Collect Your Coppers

Fill a jar with your spare pennies and tuppences (the back of the sofa is a good starting point…) and when the jar is full, count up the money and donate it to Borderline!

Quizzes and Games

Hosting a quiz/games night is easy. At the pub, at home – invite your fact-loving friends and ask them for a small donation to take part. Pubs and clubhouses are often happy to see extra faces and might offer a small prize for the winner.

Feeling Adventurous?

If you are a bit of a daredevil, why not take the plunge with a skydive or bungee jump for Borderline? See this and other challenges in our  Get Involved section.

Five-a-side Football Challenge

Know any sporty types? Bring together your fanciest footwork-ing friends to compete in a football competition. If participants donate a couple of quid to play and spectators do the same, you’ll soon have a tidy sum to help us reach our goal of ensuring a bed for every Scot in London.

Fundraise At Your Place of Worship

From a simple collection to carol singing, you can get your whole congregation involved in fundraising for Borderline. Speak to our Fundraising Officer if you would like Borderline collection tins.
