Since the psychotherapy service has been in place, client engagement levels have been encouragingly high, with an appointment attendance rate of over 70%. This is largely attributed to the flexibility of meeting points, with therapists’ meeting clients in surroundings that they feel happy and secure in.
Clients have been supported with issues including depression, low self-esteem, anger management, bereavement, family relationships, sexual and domestic abuse, relapse prevention and anxiety.
During sessions, clients are empowered to identify the steps they need to take to address their needs, and where appropriate, ask other relevant support services for further support. To date, it is felt that clients have seen some progress from the input they’ve put into their therapy.

“The new therapy service is invaluable to our clients. It’s accessible and adaptable with no long waiting lists. Most importantly, it can have life changing effects on our clients.’’
